Rory McCann, who plays Hound, is an advocate for the Green Party, a Scottish green movement. The Hound who is a Scottish film actor, may look menacing on screen, but who could have thought? Born 24th April 1969 in Glasgow Scotland, the star who is also a big Scottish television star was initially a carpenter, landscape gardener and painter before finally deciding to go to acting school in 1988. Before Game of Thrones, the actor has been in drama comedies like the Book Group and played a priest in Shameless. Some movies under his belt are Young Adam, Devil's Tattoo, Pasty Faces, Coming soon, Slow West and Clash of Titans. His political views have him firmly standing behind the Scottish Green Party. The actor also appeared in the 2007 Scottish Parliament General Election Broadcasts.
