Spend a holiday on Lake Garda: holiday tips and leisure activities

The British love Lake Garda: it is a holiday resort that has a lot to offer. Here you can enjoy great activities such as cycling, climbing, sailing. Do you love water sports or mountain sports? No problem: the lake offers various leisure activities for all vacationers.



If you love nature, visit the Parco Sigurtà in Valeggio sul Mincio, which is one of the most beautiful gardens in Europe. You can visit the Parco by shuttle bus, on foot or by bike and picnicking is also allowed. The park covers an area of 600,000 m² with tulips and box trees and is open from March 6th to November 6th, 2016 daily from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.

If you like going to the disco, Lake Garda is perfect for you. If you love nightlife, you can visit Bardolino, Desenzano, Riva del Garda or Peschiera. You can find something to do in the bars, clubs and pubs not only on weekends but also during the week.
If you are romantic, you can have an aperitif on the beach or at the Goldenbeach - Spiaggia d’Oro in Desenzano del Garda. Here you can take a glass of wine in a garden with a view of Lake Garda.

If you love themed and adventure parks, you should visit the Rimbalzello Adventure Park on Lake Garda. The park is also suitable for children because the routes are divided into three levels of difficulty: for children from 3 to 4 years, for children from 8 to 9 years and for adults. If you want to do some sport, there is also the Rimabalzello Park with tennis, beach volleyball and football.
